The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Ta-Sin-Mim. [These letters are one of the miracles of the Quran, and none but Allah (Alone) knows their meanings.] 1 These are the verses of a Book luminous. 2 You will perhaps kill yourself with anguish because they are not accepting the faith. 3 If We will, We can send down a Sign to them from heaven, so their necks will be humbled to it. 4 A fresh remembrance has never come to them from the Merciful, except they turn away from it. 5 Indeed they have denied, so now soon coming upon them are the tidings of what they used to scoff at. 6 Do they not see the earth, how many of every noble kind We have caused to grow in it? 7 Surely in this there is a sign, yet most of them would not believe: 8 Your Lord is the Majestic and the All-merciful. 9
