The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ Ta Sin Mim 1 These are the Verses of the manifest Book [this Quran, which was promised by Allah in the Taurat (Torah) and the Injeel (Gospel), makes things clear]. 2 Belike thou shalt kill thyself with grief because they become not believers. 3 But if We had so willed, We could have sent down to them a sign from the heavens so that their heads would be bowed down before it in utter humility. 4 But there comes not to them a newly-revealed Message from (Allah) Most Gracious, but they turn away therefrom. 5 So, they belied, but surely the tidings of that they mocked will come to them. 6 Do they not look at the earth,- how many noble things of all kinds We have produced therein? 7 Surely there is a Sign in this, but most of them would not believe. 8 Surely thy Lord, He is the All-mighty, the All-compassionate. 9
