The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Ta. Sin. Mim. 1 These are revelations of the Scripture that maketh plain. 2 You will perhaps kill yourself with anguish because they are not accepting the faith. 3 If We will, We shall send down on them out of heaven a sign, so their necks will stay humbled to it. 4 And no revelation comes to them anew from the Most Merciful except that they turn away from it. 5 They will soon come to know the truth of that which they have been scoffing at. 6 Do they not see the earth, how We grow all kinds of noble things upon it? 7 In this, behold, there is a message [unto men,] even though most of them will not believe [in it]. 8 And lo! thy Lord! He is indeed the Mighty, the Merciful. 9
