The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Ta. Sin. Mim. 1 These are the Verses of the manifest Book [this Quran, which was promised by Allah in the Taurat (Torah) and the Injeel (Gospel), makes things clear]. 2 It may be that you (O Muhammad SAW) are going to kill yourself with grief, that they do not become believers [in your Risalah (Messengership) and in your Message of Islamic Monotheism]. 3 Had We wanted, We would have sent them a miracle from the sky to make their heads hang down in submission. 4 But never fresh remembrance comes to them from the All-merciful, except they turn away from it. 5 They have called (our revelation) lies. They will soon learn the consequences of what they mocked. 6 Have they not seen the earth, how much of every fruitful kind We make to grow therein? 7 In this there is, certainly, evidence (of the Truth). But most of them have no faith. 8 And lo! thy Lord! He is indeed the Mighty, the Merciful. 9
