The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Ta Sin Mim 1 These are the verses of the perspicuous Book. 2 (O Muhammad), you will perhaps grieve yourself to death because these people do not believe. 3 Had We so willed, We could have sent down unto them a message from the skies, so that their necks would [be forced to] bow down before it in humility. 4 And there cometh not unto them any fresh admonition from the Compassionate but they are wont to be therefrom backsliders. 5 So they have cried lies; therefore assuredly tidings will come to them of that they mocked at. 6 Do they not see the earth, and what beneficial kinds of things We have caused to grow in it? 7 In this there is, certainly, evidence (of the Truth). But most of them have no faith. 8 And lo! thy Lord! He is indeed the Mighty, the Merciful. 9
