The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
۞ Ta. Sin. Mim. 1 These are verses of the clear Book. 2 You will perhaps kill yourself with anguish because they are not accepting the faith. 3 If We willed, We could send down to them from the sky a sign for which their necks would remain humbled. 4 And there does not come to them a new reminder from the Beneficent Allah but they turn aside from it. 5 Surely they have done with denying; soon will come to them the news of what they were laughing at. 6 Do they not see the earth, how many of every noble kind We have caused to grow in it? 7 In this, behold, there is a message [unto men,] even though most of them will not believe [in it]. 8 Your Lord is surely mighty and merciful. 9
