The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ Ta, Seen, Meem. 1 These are the verses of the clear Book. 2 Perhaps you consume yourself that they are not believers. 3 We could send down from the heavens a sign to them if We pleased, before which their heads would remain bowed. 4 [But We have not willed it:] and so, whenever there comes unto them any fresh reminder from the Most Gracious, they [who are blind of heart] always - turn their backs upon it: 5 So, they belied, but surely the tidings of that they mocked will come to them. 6 Do they not see the earth, how We grow all kinds of noble things upon it? 7 Verily there are signs in this; yet many of them do not believe. 8 Verily Your Lord is Infinitely Mighty, Most Compassionate. 9
