The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ Ta. Sin. Mim. 1 THESE ARE MESSAGES of the divine writ, clear in itself and clearly showing the truth! 2 Perhaps, [O Muhammad], you would kill yourself with grief that they will not be believers. 3 Had We so willed, We could have sent down unto them a message from the skies, so that their necks would [be forced to] bow down before it in humility. 4 Never does there come to them an admonition from the Merciful Lord but they turn away from it. 5 they have indeed rejected the message. But the truth of what they laughed to scorn will dawn upon them before long. 6 Do they not see the earth, how many of every noble kind We have caused to grow in it? 7 Surely in that is a sign, yet most of them are not believers. 8 And verily, thy Lord is He, the Exalted in Might, Most Merciful. 9
