The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ Ta Sin Mim 1 These are the verses of the perspicuous Book. 2 Perhaps, [O Muhammad], you would kill yourself with grief that they will not be believers. 3 Had We wanted, We would have sent them a miracle from the sky to make their heads hang down in submission. 4 But there comes not to them a newly-revealed Message from (Allah) Most Gracious, but they turn away therefrom. 5 So, they belied, but surely the tidings of that they mocked will come to them. 6 Have they, then, never considered the earth - how much of every noble kind [of life] We have caused to grow thereon? 7 Surely, in this there is a sign yet most of them do not believe. 8 Surely thy Lord, He is the All-mighty, the All-compassionate. 9
