The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ Ta. Sin. Mim. 1 These are the verses of a Book luminous. 2 You may perhaps wear out your heart because they do not come to belief. 3 Had We wanted, We would have sent them a miracle from the sky to make their heads hang down in submission. 4 Whenever a new message comes to them from the Beneficent God, they turn away from it. 5 they have indeed rejected the message. But the truth of what they laughed to scorn will dawn upon them before long. 6 Do they not observe the earth, how much of every good kind We cause to grow therein? 7 Lo! herein is indeed a portent; yet most of them are not believers. 8 And verily, your Lord! He is truly the All-Mighty, the Most Merciful. 9
