The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ Ta Sin Mim. 1 These are the verses of the perspicuous Book. 2 You will perhaps kill yourself with anguish because they are not accepting the faith. 3 If We will, We can send down on them from the sky a portent so that their necks would remain bowed before it. 4 But never fresh remembrance comes to them from the All-merciful, except they turn away from it. 5 thus, indeed, have they given the lie (to this message as well). But [in time] they will come to understand what it was that they were wont to deride! 6 Do they not see the earth, and what beneficial kinds of things We have caused to grow in it? 7 Surely there is a Sign in this, but most of them would not believe. 8 Your Lord, He is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 9
