The Poets (Alshu'araa')

227 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah) before The Ant (Al-Naml)

In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful

۞ Ta'. Sin. Mim. 1 These are the verses of the Book that makes (things) clear. 2 Belike thou shalt kill thyself with grief because they become not believers. 3 If We will, We can send down on them a sign from the sky so that their leaders would remain bowed before it. 4 And never comes there unto them a Reminder as a recent revelation from the Most Beneficent (Allah), but they turn away therefrom. 5 Surely they have done with denying; soon will come to them the news of what they were laughing at. 6 Have they, then, never considered the earth - how much of every noble kind [of life] We have caused to grow thereon? 7 Verily there are signs in this; yet many of them do not believe. 8 And verily, your Lord! He is truly the All-Mighty, the Most Merciful. 9
