The Poets (Alshu'araa')

227 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah) before The Ant (Al-Naml)

In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate

۞ Ta. Sin, Mim. 1 These are the verses of a Book luminous. 2 Perhaps you will kill yourself with grief because they do not believe. 3 If We willed, We could send down to them from the sky a sign for which their necks would remain humbled. 4 And never does a new advice come to them from the Most Gracious, but they turn away from it. 5 They have indeed rejected (the Message): so they will know soon (enough) the truth of what they mocked at! 6 Have they, then, never considered the earth - how much of every noble kind [of life] We have caused to grow thereon? 7 Indeed in this is a sign; and most of them will not accept faith. 8 Verily Your Lord is Infinitely Mighty, Most Compassionate. 9
