The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ Ta-Sin-Mim. [These letters are one of the miracles of the Quran, and none but Allah (Alone) knows their meanings.] 1 These are the verses of a Book luminous. 2 It may be that thou tormentest thyself (O Muhammad) because they believe not. 3 We could send down from the heavens a sign to them if We pleased, before which their heads would remain bowed. 4 [But We have not willed it:] and so, whenever there comes unto them any fresh reminder from the Most Gracious, they [who are blind of heart] always - turn their backs upon it: 5 Now they have denied (the Truth); but there will come unto them tidings of that whereat they used to scoff. 6 Do they not look at the earth, how We caused a variety of fine vegetation to grow from it (in abundance)? 7 In this there is, certainly, evidence (of the Truth). But most of them have no faith. 8 Verily Your Lord is Infinitely Mighty, Most Compassionate. 9
