The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ Ta, Seen, Meem. 1 These are the verses of the clear Book. 2 (O Muhammad), you will perhaps grieve yourself to death because these people do not believe. 3 Had We so willed, We could have sent down unto them a message from the skies, so that their necks would [be forced to] bow down before it in humility. 4 Whenever there comes to them any fresh warning from the Merciful, they always turn their backs on it: 5 Indeed they have denied, so now soon coming upon them are the tidings of what they used to scoff at. 6 Have they, then, never considered the earth - how much of every noble kind [of life] We have caused to grow thereon? 7 Verily, in this is a Sign: but most of them do not believe. 8 And indeed, your Lord - He is the Exalted in Might, the Merciful. 9
