The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Ta'. Sin. Mim. 1 These are the verses of the perspicuous Book. 2 It may be thou frettest thy soul with grief, that they do not become Believers. 3 If We list, We can send down unto them a sign from the heaven so that their necks would become to it submissive. 4 And never does a new advice come to them from the Most Gracious, but they turn away from it. 5 Now they have denied (the Truth); but there will come unto them tidings of that whereat they used to scoff. 6 Have they not seen the earth, how much of every fruitful kind We make to grow therein? 7 Surely in that is a sign, yet most of them are not believers. 8 And most surely your Lord is the Mighty, the Merciful. 9
