The Poets (Alshu'araa')

In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful

۞ TaSeenMeem. 1 These are the verses of the Clear Book. 2 It may be that you will destroy yourself with grief because they will not believe. 3 If We please, We should send down upon them a sign from the heaven so that their necks should stoop to it. 4 And no revelation comes to them anew from the Most Merciful except that they turn away from it. 5 thus, indeed, have they given the lie (to this message as well). But [in time] they will come to understand what it was that they were wont to deride! 6 Have they not seen the earth, that how many honourable pairs We have created in it? 7 Most surely there is a sign in that, but most of them will not believe. 8 And verily, your Lord! He is truly the All-Mighty, the Most Merciful. 9
