The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ TaSeenMeem. 1 These are revelations of the Scripture that maketh plain. 2 It may be thou frettest thy soul with grief, that they do not become Believers. 3 But if We had so willed, We could have sent down to them a sign from the heavens so that their heads would be bowed down before it in utter humility. 4 Whenever a new message comes to them from the Beneficent God, they turn away from it. 5 They have indeed rejected (the Message): so they will know soon (enough) the truth of what they mocked at! 6 What, have they not regarded the earth, how many therein We have caused to grow of every generous kind? 7 Lo! herein is indeed a portent; yet most of them are not believers. 8 truly, your Lord is the Mighty One, the Merciful. 9
