The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ Ta. Sin. Mim. 1 These are the verses of the clear Book. 2 (O Muhammad), you will perhaps grieve yourself to death because these people do not believe. 3 If We list, We can send down unto them a sign from the heaven so that their necks would become to it submissive. 4 Never does a new reminder come to them from Ar-Rahman but they turn away from it. 5 They have called (our revelation) lies. They will soon learn the consequences of what they mocked. 6 Do they not see the earth, and what beneficial kinds of things We have caused to grow in it? 7 Most surely there is a sign in that, but most of them will not believe. 8 Surely thy Lord, He is the All-mighty, the All-compassionate. 9
