The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ Ta. Sin. Mim. 1 THESE ARE MESSAGES of the divine writ, clear in itself and clearly showing the truth! 2 It may be that you will destroy yourself with grief because they will not believe. 3 If We will, We can send down on them a sign from heaven before which their necks will remain humbled. 4 Never does there come to them an admonition from the Merciful Lord but they turn away from it. 5 Indeed they have denied, so now soon coming upon them are the tidings of what they used to scoff at. 6 Do they not look at the earth, how We caused a variety of fine vegetation to grow from it (in abundance)? 7 Surely in that is a sign, yet most of them are not believers. 8 Surely thy Lord, He is the All-mighty, the All-compassionate. 9
