The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ Ta-Sin-Mim. [These letters are one of the miracles of the Quran, and none but Allah (Alone) knows their meanings.] 1 These are the verses of the Clear Book. 2 Perchance thou consumest thyself that they are not believers. 3 If We will, We can send down a Sign to them from heaven, so their necks will be humbled to it. 4 And there cometh not unto them any fresh admonition from the Compassionate but they are wont to be therefrom backsliders. 5 They will soon come to know the truth of that which they have been scoffing at. 6 Observe they not the earth, how much We make to grow therein of every fruitful kind? 7 Lo! herein is indeed a portent; yet most of them are not believers. 8 And verily thy Lord! He is the Mighty, the Merciful. 9
