The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Ta-Seen-Meem. (Alphabets of the Arabic language – Allah, and to whomever he reveals, know their precise meanings.) 1 Those are the signs of the Manifest Book. 2 Belike thou shalt kill thyself with grief because they become not believers. 3 If We will, We can send down a Sign to them from heaven, so their necks will be humbled to it. 4 And there cometh not unto them any fresh admonition from the Compassionate but they are wont to be therefrom backsliders. 5 Now they have denied (the Truth); but there will come unto them tidings of that whereat they used to scoff. 6 Have they not seen the earth, how much of every fruitful kind We make to grow therein? 7 Indeed in that is a sign, but most of them were not to be believers. 8 Your Lord is the Majestic and the All-merciful. 9
