The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
۞ Ta Sin Mim 1 These are the verses of the illustrious Book. 2 Perhaps, [O Muhammad], you would kill yourself with grief that they will not be believers. 3 If (such) were Our Will, We could send down to them from the sky a Sign, to which they would bend their necks in humility. 4 Whenever there comes to them any fresh warning from the Merciful, they always turn their backs on it: 5 Now they have denied (the Truth); but there will come unto them tidings of that whereat they used to scoff. 6 Do they not see the earth, how We grow all kinds of noble things upon it? 7 Surely there is a Sign in this, but most of them would not believe. 8 Your Lord is surely mighty and merciful. 9
