The Poets (Alshu'araa')

In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful

۞ Ta. Sin. Mim. 1 These are verses of the clear Book. 2 Perhaps you consume yourself that they are not believers. 3 Had We so willed, We could have sent down unto them a message from the skies, so that their necks would [be forced to] bow down before it in humility. 4 Whenever a new message comes to them from the Beneficent God, they turn away from it. 5 They have called (our revelation) lies. They will soon learn the consequences of what they mocked. 6 Do they not look at the earth,- how many noble things of all kinds We have produced therein? 7 Surely in that is a sign, yet most of them are not believers. 8 And verily thy Lord! He is the Mighty, the Merciful. 9
