The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ Ta'. Sin. Mim. 1 These are revelations of the Scripture that maketh plain. 2 It may be that thou tormentest thyself (O Muhammad) because they believe not. 3 If We please, We should send down upon them a sign from the heaven so that their necks should stoop to it. 4 And never comes there unto them a Reminder as a recent revelation from the Most Beneficent (Allah), but they turn away therefrom. 5 For they have already denied, but there will come to them the news of that which they used to ridicule. 6 Have they not seen the earth, how much of every fruitful kind We make to grow therein? 7 Verily, in this is a Sign: but most of them do not believe. 8 And indeed, your Lord - He is the Exalted in Might, the Merciful. 9
