The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ Ta. Sin. Mim. 1 These are the Verses of the manifest Book [this Quran, which was promised by Allah in the Taurat (Torah) and the Injeel (Gospel), makes things clear]. 2 It may be thou frettest thy soul with grief, that they do not become Believers. 3 If We will, We could send down to them from the heaven a sign, to which they would bend their necks in humility. 4 [But We have not willed it:] and so, whenever there comes unto them any fresh reminder from the Most Gracious, they [who are blind of heart] always - turn their backs upon it: 5 Indeed they have denied, so now soon coming upon them are the tidings of what they used to scoff at. 6 Have they not seen the earth in which We have made gracious plants grow? 7 Surely, in this there is a sign yet most of them do not believe. 8 Verily Your Lord is Infinitely Mighty, Most Compassionate. 9
