The Poets (Alshu'araa')

In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

۞ Ta'. Sin. Mim. 1 These are the verses of the clear Book. 2 It may be that you will destroy yourself with grief because they will not believe. 3 If We list, We can send down unto them a sign from the heaven so that their necks would become to it submissive. 4 Whenever there comes to them any fresh warning from the Merciful, they always turn their backs on it: 5 They have called (our revelation) lies. They will soon learn the consequences of what they mocked. 6 Have they, then, never considered the earth - how much of every noble kind [of life] We have caused to grow thereon? 7 Indeed in this is a sign; and most of them will not accept faith. 8 Your Lord is the Majestic and the All-merciful. 9
