The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ Ta. Sin. Mim. 1 These are the verses of the Clear Book. 2 It may be that thou tormentest thyself (O Muhammad) because they believe not. 3 But if We had so willed, We could have sent down to them a sign from the heavens so that their heads would be bowed down before it in utter humility. 4 But never fresh remembrance comes to them from the All-merciful, except they turn away from it. 5 Surely they have done with denying; soon will come to them the news of what they were laughing at. 6 Have they not seen the earth, that how many honourable pairs We have created in it? 7 Verily therein is a sign; yet most of them are not believers. 8 Your Lord, He is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 9
