The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
۞ Ta. Sin. Mim. 1 These are the verses of the clear Book. 2 Perhaps, [O Muhammad], you would kill yourself with grief that they will not be believers. 3 Had We so willed, We could have sent down unto them a message from the skies, so that their necks would [be forced to] bow down before it in humility. 4 And never comes there unto them a Reminder as a recent revelation from the Most Beneficent (Allah), but they turn away therefrom. 5 So, they belied, but surely the tidings of that they mocked will come to them. 6 Do they not observe the earth, how much of every good kind We cause to grow therein? 7 Verily, in this is a Sign: but most of them do not believe. 8 Your Lord is surely mighty and merciful. 9
