The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ Ta Sin Mim. 1 These are the verses of the perspicuous Book. 2 Wouldst thou, perhaps, torment thyself to death [with grief] because they [who live around thee] refuse to believe [in it]? 3 If We will, We can send down on them a sign from heaven before which their necks will remain humbled. 4 And never does a new advice come to them from the Most Gracious, but they turn away from it. 5 They have indeed rejected (the Message): so they will know soon (enough) the truth of what they mocked at! 6 Do they not observe the earth, how much of every good kind We cause to grow therein? 7 Surely in that is a sign, yet most of them are not believers. 8 Surely thy Lord, He is the All-mighty, the All-compassionate. 9
