The Poets (Alshu'araa')
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Ta-Seen-Meem. (Alphabets of the Arabic language – Allah, and to whomever he reveals, know their precise meanings.) 1 These are the verses of the clear Book. 2 Perhaps you will kill yourself with grief because they do not believe. 3 Had We wanted, We would have sent them a miracle from the sky to make their heads hang down in submission. 4 [But We have not willed it:] and so, whenever there comes unto them any fresh reminder from the Most Gracious, they [who are blind of heart] always - turn their backs upon it: 5 So they have indeed rejected (the truth), therefore the news of that which they mock shall soon come to them. 6 Did they not look at the earth - how much We have produced therein from every noble kind? 7 Verily, in this is a Sign: but most of them do not believe. 8 And indeed your Lord – indeed only He is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 9
