In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ Ta Sin Mim. 1 These are the verses of the clear Book. 2 Perhaps you will kill yourself with grief because they do not believe. 3 If We will, We can send down on them a sign from heaven before which their necks will remain humbled. 4 And there cometh not unto them any fresh admonition from the Compassionate but they are wont to be therefrom backsliders. 5 So they have indeed denied (the truth - this Quran), then the news of what they mocked at, will come to them. 6 Do they not observe the earth, how much of every good kind We cause to grow therein? 7 Verily, in this is an Ayah (proof or sign), yet most of them (polytheists, pagans, etc., who do not believe in Resurrection) are not believers. 8 And verily, thy Lord is He, the Exalted in Might, Most Merciful. 9

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
