The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Ta Sin Mim. 1 These are the verses of the illustrious Book. 2 You may perhaps wear out your heart because they do not come to belief. 3 If We please, We should send down upon them a sign from the heaven so that their necks should stoop to it. 4 And there does not come to them a new reminder from the Beneficent Allah but they turn aside from it. 5 they have indeed rejected the message. But the truth of what they laughed to scorn will dawn upon them before long. 6 Do they not look at the earth, how We caused a variety of fine vegetation to grow from it (in abundance)? 7 Verily, in this is an Ayah (proof or sign), yet most of them (polytheists, pagans, etc., who do not believe in Resurrection) are not believers. 8 And lo! thy Lord! He is indeed the Mighty, the Merciful. 9
