The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ Ta. Sin. Mim. 1 These are verses of the clear Book. 2 Perhaps you will kill yourself with grief because they do not believe. 3 If We will, We could send down to them from the heaven a sign, to which they would bend their necks in humility. 4 Whenever there comes to them any fresh warning from the Merciful, they always turn their backs on it: 5 Surely they have done with denying; soon will come to them the news of what they were laughing at. 6 Do they not see the earth, and what beneficial kinds of things We have caused to grow in it? 7 Verily therein is a sign; yet most of them are not believers. 8 Your Lord, He is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 9
