The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ Ta. Sin. Mim. 1 These are the verses of the clear Book. 2 You will perhaps kill yourself with anguish because they are not accepting the faith. 3 Had We so willed, We could have sent down unto them a message from the skies, so that their necks would [be forced to] bow down before it in humility. 4 Never cometh there unto them a fresh reminder from the Beneficent One, but they turn away from it. 5 Surely they have done with denying; soon will come to them the news of what they were laughing at. 6 Do they not see the earth, how We grow all kinds of noble things upon it? 7 Indeed in this is a sign; and most of them will not accept faith. 8 Verily Your Lord is Infinitely Mighty, Most Compassionate. 9
