The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ TaSeenMeem. 1 These are the Verses of the manifest Book [this Quran, which was promised by Allah in the Taurat (Torah) and the Injeel (Gospel), makes things clear]. 2 Perhaps, [O Muhammad], you would kill yourself with grief that they will not be believers. 3 If We will, We can send down on them a sign from the sky so that their leaders would remain bowed before it. 4 And never comes there unto them a Reminder as a recent revelation from the Most Beneficent (Allah), but they turn away therefrom. 5 So they have surely belied; wherefore anon there shall come unto them the truth of that whereat they were wont to mock. 6 Have they not seen the earth, how much of every fruitful kind We make to grow therein? 7 In this there is, certainly, evidence (of the Truth). But most of them have no faith. 8 truly, your Lord is the Mighty One, the Merciful. 9
