The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Ta-Sin-Mim. [These letters are one of the miracles of the Quran, and none but Allah (Alone) knows their meanings.] 1 These are the verses of the Book that makes things clear. 2 Perhaps, [O Muhammad], you would kill yourself with grief that they will not be believers. 3 We could send down from the heavens a sign to them if We pleased, before which their heads would remain bowed. 4 Never does there come to them an admonition from the Merciful Lord but they turn away from it. 5 So they have indeed rejected (the truth), therefore the news of that which they mock shall soon come to them. 6 Did they not look at the earth - how much We have produced therein from every noble kind? 7 Surely, in this there is a sign yet most of them do not believe. 8 And most surely your Lord is the Mighty, the Merciful. 9
