When Your Lord told Moses to go to the unjust people of the Pharaoh 10 The people of Pharaoh. Will they not fear Allah?" 11 Moses replied, "My Lord, I fear they will reject me, 12 And my breast straiteneth, and my tongue moveth not quickly: so send for Harun. 13 They also have a sin against me, and I fear they will slay me.' 14 Said He, 'No indeed; but go, both of you, with Our signs, and We assuredly shall be with you, listening. 15 And go, both of you, unto Pharaoh and say, 'Behold, we bear a message from the Sustainer of all the worlds: 16 [Commanded to say], "Send with us the Children of Israel."'" 17 Said Firaun, “Did we do not raise you amongst us, as a child? And you spent many years of your life among us!” 18 And thou didst the deed thou didst, being one of the ungrateful!' 19 Musa (Moses) said: "I did it then, when I was an ignorant (as regards my Lord and His Message). 20 So I fled from you when I feared you, then my Lord granted me wisdom and made me of the apostles; 21 But the favour you oblige me with is that you have enslaved the children of Israel." 22 Pharaoh said, "What is this: Lord of the Universe?" 23 'He' (Moses) replied: 'is the Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, if you believe' 24 Fir'awn said unto those around him: hear ye not? 25 He said, 'Your Lord and the Lord of your fathers, the ancients' 26 Pharaoh said to the audience: "This Messenger of yours who has been sent to you is simply mad." 27 [Moses] said, "Lord of the east and the west and that between them, if you were to reason." 28 Fir'aun (Pharaoh) said: "If you choose an ilah (god) other than me, I will certainly put you among the prisoners." 29 He said: Even though I show thee something plain? 30 Said he: Bring it then, if you are of the truthful ones. 31 So Moses threw down his staff and suddenly it appeared as a serpent, plainly visible. 32 and he drew his hand (out of his armpit) and lo! it had become a shining object to the beholders. 33
