And [mention] when your Lord called Moses, [saying], "Go to the wrongdoing people - 10 The people of Pharaoh. Will they not fear and take heed?" 11 He replied, "Lord, I am afraid that they will call me a liar. 12 My breast is constricted and my tongue is not fluent, so endow Messengership on Aaron. 13 And they have upon me a [claim due to] sin, so I fear that they will kill me." 14 Said He: "Not so, indeed! Go forth, then, both of you, with Our messages: verily, We shall be with you, listening [to your call]! 15 go both to Pharaoh and both of you say to him: 'We are (each) a Messenger from the Lord of all the Worlds. 16 Then send with us the children of Israel. 17 Pharaoh said to Moses, "Did we not bring you up among us as a child? And you spent several years of your life with us. 18 "And thou didst a deed of thine which (thou knowest) thou didst, and thou art an ungrateful (wretch)!" 19 He said: I did it then, when I was of those who are astray. 20 So I ran away from you out of fear. But my Lord has given me wisdom, and made me an apostle. 21 And [as for] that favour of which thou so tauntingly remindest me - [was it not] due to thy having enslaved the children of Israel?" 22 Pharaoh said: "And who is this Lord of the Universe?" 23 (Moses) said: "The Lord and Cherisher of the heavens and the earth, and all between,- if ye want to be quite sure." 24 Fir'awn said unto those around him: hear ye not? 25 [Moses] said, "Your Lord and the Lord of your first forefathers." 26 Fir'aun (Pharaoh) said: "Verily, your Messenger who has been sent to you is a madman!" 27 (Moses) said: "The Lord of the East and the Lord of the West and all that lies between them, if you have sense." 28 (Pharaoh) said: "If thou dost put forward any god other than me, I will certainly put thee in prison!" 29 He said, 'What, even though I brought thee something so manifest?' 30 The Pharaoh replied, "Bring it, if you are telling the truth." 31 So [Moses] threw his staff, and suddenly it was a serpent manifest. 32 And he drew forth his hand, thereupon it shone bright before the beholders. 33

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
