And (remember) when your Lord called Musa (Moses) (saying): "Go to the people who are Zalimun (polytheists and wrong-doing), 10 the people of Pharaoh; will they not be godfearing?' 11 He replied, "Lord, I am afraid that they will call me a liar. 12 "My breast will be straitened. And my speech may not go (smoothly): so send unto Aaron. 13 And they have a charge (of murder) against me. So I fear that they will kill me." 14 He said: 'Never so, go both of you with Our signs; We shall be with you, listening 15 And go, both of you, unto Pharaoh and say, 'Behold, we bear a message from the Sustainer of all the worlds: 16 Send the Israelites with us". 17 (Pharaoh) said (unto Moses): Did we not rear thee among us as a child? And thou didst dwell many years of thy life among us, 18 “And you committed the deed of yours that you committed, and you were ungrateful.” 19 Replied [Moses]: "I committed it while I was still going astray; 20 and I fled from you because I feared you. Then my Lord granted me wisdom and made me one of the messengers. 21 That is a blessing thou reproachest me with, having enslaved the Children of Israel.' 22 Pharaoh said: "And who is this Lord of the Universe?" 23 Moses replied, "The Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, if you want to be certain". 24 The Pharaoh said to the people around him, "Did you hear that?" 25 (Moses continued): "Your Lord and the Lord of your fathers before you." 26 Pharaoh said to the audience: "This Messenger of yours who has been sent to you is simply mad." 27 He said, “The Lord of the East and the West and all that is between them; if you have sense.” 28 Fir'aun (Pharaoh) said: "If you choose an ilah (god) other than me, I will certainly put you among the prisoners." 29 Musa (Moses) said: "Even if I bring you something manifest (and convincing)?" 30 [Pharaoh] said, "Then bring it, if you should be of the truthful." 31 Moses threw his staff and suddenly it became a serpent. 32 Then he uncovered his hand and it was sheer white to the onlookers. 33

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
