And [mention] when your Lord called Moses, [saying], "Go to the wrongdoing people - 10 the people of Pharaoh; will they not be godfearing?' 11 He said: "My Lord! I fear that they will brand me a liar. 12 I feel nervous and my tongue is not fluent, so send Aaron with me. 13 "And they have a charge of crime against me, and I fear they will kill me." 14 He said: Nay, verily. So go ye twain with Our tokens. Lo! We shall be with you, Hearing. 15 go both to Pharaoh and both of you say to him: 'We are (each) a Messenger from the Lord of all the Worlds. 16 let the Children of Israel go with us!'" 17 Pharaoh said to Moses, "Did we not bring you up among us as a child? And you spent several years of your life with us. 18 And thou didst that thy deed which thou didst; and thou art of the ingrates. 19 Moses replied, "I did that when I was one of the misguided, 20 So I fled from you when I feared you. Then my Lord granted me wisdom and prophethood and appointed me [as one] of the messengers. 21 "And this is the past favour with which you reproach me, that you have enslaved the Children of Israel." 22 Fir'aun (Pharaoh) said: "And what is the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists)?" 23 [Moses] said, "The Lord of the heavens and earth and that between them, if you should be convinced." 24 (Firon) said to those around him: Do you not hear? 25 [And Moses] continued: "[He is] your Sustainer, [too,] as well as the Sustainer of your forefathers of old!" 26 Said he, 'Surely your Messenger who was sent to you is possessed!' 27 He said: Lord of the East and the West and all that is between them, if ye did but understand. 28 Said Firaun, “If you ascribe any one else as a God other than me, I will surely imprison you.” 29 (Moses) said: "Even if I showed you something clear (and) convincing?" 30 Said Firaun, “Then bring it, if you are of the truthful.” 31 So Moosa put down his staff and it became a visible serpent. 32 And he drew out his hand, and behold, it was white to all beholders! 33
