And when your Lord called out to Musa, saying: Go to the unjust people, 10 the people of Pharaoh, who refuse to be conscious of Me!" 11 He said: "My Lord! I fear that they will brand me a liar. 12 And I shall be embarrassed, and my tongue will not speak plainly, therefor send for Aaron (to help me). 13 And they have a crime against me, so I fear that they will kill me. 14 He said: 'Never so, go both of you with Our signs; We shall be with you, listening 15 Go to Pharaoh, both of you, and say, 'We are messengers from the Lord of the Worlds: 16 Send with us the Children of Isra'il? 17 Fir'awn said: brought we not thee up amongst us as a child? And thou tarriedst amongst us for many years of thy life? 18 And you did (that) deed of yours which you did, and you are one of the ungrateful. 19 Replied [Moses]: "I committed it while I was still going astray; 20 Then I fled from you when I feared you, and my Lord bestowed on me wisdom and made me one of the sent ones. 21 And this is the past favour wherewith thou reproachest me: that thou hast enslaved the Children of Israel. 22 Pharaoh said: And what is the Lord of the Worlds? 23 'He' (Moses) replied: 'is the Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, if you believe' 24 Said he to those about him, 'Do you not hear?' 25 He said: Your Lord and the Lord of your fathers. 26 The Pharaoh said, "The Messenger who has been sent to you is certainly insane". 27 (Moses) said: "Lord of the East and the West, and all between! if ye only had sense!" 28 (Pharaoh) said: If thou choosest a god other than me, I assuredly shall place thee among the prisoners. 29 He said: even though I bring unto thee something manifest? 30 (The Pharaoh) said: "Then bring it, if you speak the truth." 31 So Moosa put down his staff and it became a visible serpent. 32 And he drew out his hand, and behold, it was white to all beholders! 33
