When Your Lord told Moses to go to the unjust people of the Pharaoh 10 “The nation of Firaun; will they not fear?” 11 He said: "My Lord! Verily, I fear that they will belie me, 12 “I feel hesitant, and my tongue does not speak fast, therefore make Haroon also a Noble Messenger.” 13 “And they have an accusation against me, so I fear that they may kill me.” 14 He said: by no means. So go ye twain with Our signs; verily We shall be with you listening. 15 Go to the Pharaoh and tell him: 'We bring a message from the Lord of all the worlds 16 Let the children of Israel go with us!'" 17 Pharaoh said to Moses, "Did we not bring you up among us as a child? And you spent several years of your life with us. 18 And yet thou didst commit that [heinous] deed of thine, and [hast thus shown that] thou art one of the ingrate!" 19 [Moses] said, "I did it, then, while I was of those astray. 20 and I fled from you because I feared you. Then my Lord granted me wisdom and made me one of the messengers. 21 That is a blessing thou reproachest me with, having enslaved the Children of Israel.' 22 Fir'aun (Pharaoh) said: "And what is the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists)?" 23 Moses replied, "The Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, if you want to be certain". 24 Fir'aun (Pharaoh) said to those around: "Do you not hear (what he says)?" 25 He said: Your Lord and the Lord of your fathers of old. 26 Said Firaun, “This (Noble) Messenger of yours, who has been sent towards you, has no intelligence!” 27 [Moses] said, "Lord of the east and the west and that between them, if you were to reason." 28 (The Pharaoh) said: "If you took another god apart from me I will have you incarcerated." 29 and Moses asked, "Even if I show you a clear sign?" 30 [Pharaoh] answered: "Produce it, then, if thou art a man of truth!" 31 (No sooner had he said this than) Moses threw down his rod and behold, it was a veritable serpent, 32 And he drew forth his hand, and lo, it looked white to the beholders. 33
