And [mention] when your Lord called Moses, [saying], "Go to the wrongdoing people - 10 The people of Pharaoh. Will they not fear Allah?" 11 He said: "O my Lord! I do fear that they will charge me with falsehood: 12 “I feel hesitant, and my tongue does not speak fast, therefore make Haroon also a Noble Messenger.” 13 And they have a crime against me, therefore I fear that they may slay me. 14 He said, “Not like this (any more); both of you go with Our signs, We are with you, All Hearing.” 15 Go to Pharaoh and say, 'We are the messengers of the Lord of the worlds, 16 "'Send thou with us the Children of Israel.'" 17 The Pharaoh said, "Did we not bring you up in our home as an infant and did you not live with us for many years 18 “And you committed the deed of yours that you committed, and you were ungrateful.” 19 He said: I did it then while I was of those unable to see the right course; 20 So I ran away from you out of fear. But my Lord has given me wisdom, and made me an apostle. 21 And this is the favor with which you oblige me: You have made the Israelites your slaves. 22 The Pharaoh asked: "And what is the Lord of all the worlds?" 23 Moses replied, "The Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, if you want to be certain". 24 (Pharaoh) said unto those around him: Hear ye not? 25 Musa (Moses) said: "Your Lord and the Lord of your ancient fathers!" 26 Fir'aun (Pharaoh) said: "Verily, your Messenger who has been sent to you is a madman!" 27 He said, “The Lord of the East and the West and all that is between them; if you have sense.” 28 Said he, 'If thou takest a god other than me, I shall surely make thee one of the imprisoned.' 29 He said, 'What, even though I brought thee something so manifest?' 30 (Pharaoh) said: Produce it then, if thou art of the truthful! 31 Then he cast down his staff, and lo! it was a serpent manifest. 32 And he drew forth his hand, and lo! it appeared white to the onlookers. 33
