۞ We said to Moses: "Travel by night with My creatures. You will surely be pursued." 52 The Pharaoh sent word to all the cities saying, 53 saying: "These (Israelites) are only a small band of people 54 "And verily, they have done what has enraged us; 55 And lo! we are a ready host. 56 Thus did We drive them out of their gardens and springs 57 And from treasures and nice houses. 58 Thus (were those things taken from them) and We caused the Children of Israel to inherit them. 59 At sunrise they set off in pursuit of them 60 And when the two hosts saw each other, the companions of Musa (Moses) said: "We are sure to be overtaken." 61 Moses replied, "No, My Lord is with me, and He will guide me." 62 Then We bade Moses strike the sea with his staff. And it parted, and each part was like a huge mountain. 63 We also brought the other party close to the same spot, 64 and We saved Moses and all who were with him, 65 then We drowned the others. 66 Verily! In this is indeed a sign (or a proof), yet most of them are not believers. 67 And verily thy Lord is He, the Exalted in Might, Most Merciful. 68
