۞ By inspiration we told Moses: "Travel by night with my servants; for surely ye shall be pursued." 52 Then Fir'aun (Pharaoh) sent callers to (all) the cities. 53 (Saying): "Verily! These indeed are but a small band. 54 They are always harassing us. 55 we are a large and watchful force." 56 So We made them leave their gardens and springs, 57 And treasures and honorable station - 58 So it was; and We made the Descendants of Israel its inheritors. 59 At sunrise, they followed them. 60 And when the two hosts saw each other, the companions of Musa (Moses) said: "We are sure to be overtaken." 61 Musa said: by no means; verily with me is my Lord; He shall guide me. 62 Then We revealed to Moses: 'Strike the sea with your staff', so it divided and each part was as a mighty mount. 63 And We brought near, there, the others. 64 And We saved Moses and those with him, every one; 65 and drowned the other party. 66 Indeed in that is a sign, but most of them were not to be believers. 67 And verily thy Lord is He, the Exalted in Might, Most Merciful. 68
