۞ We sent a revelation to Moses telling him to leave with our servants during the night; they would be pursued (by the Pharaoh). 52 Then Fir'awn sent unto the cities callers: 53 They announced “These people are a small group.” 54 And lo! they are offenders against us. 55 But we are a fully accounted army." 56 So We expelled them from gardens and fountains, 57 Treasures, and every kind of honourable position; 58 So it was; and We made the Descendants of Israel its inheritors. 59 At sunrise they set off in pursuit of them 60 And when the two hosts came in view of each other, Moses' companions said: 'We have been reached' 61 'No, indeed' he replied, 'my Lord is with me and He will guide me' 62 We sent a revelation to Moses saying, "Strike the sea with your staff." The sea was rent asunder and each side stood high up like a huge mountain. 63 And We caused the pursuers to draw near unto that place: 64 and We delivered Moses and those with him all together; 65 Then We drowned the others. 66 Surely there is a Sign in this, but most of them would not believe. 67 And verily thy Lord is He, the Exalted in Might, Most Merciful. 68
