۞ AND [there came a time when] We inspired Moses thus: "Go forth with My servants by night: for, behold, you will be pursued!" 52 So Firaun sent gatherers into the cities. 53 'Behold, these are a small troop, 54 And lo! they are offenders against us. 55 We are warning all of you about them." 56 So We expelled them from gardens and fountains, 57 And treasures and honorable station - 58 Thus (were those things taken from them) and We caused the Children of Israel to inherit them. 59 At sunrise they set off in pursuit of them 60 And when the two hosts saw each other, those with Moses said: Lo! we are indeed caught. 61 [Moses] said, "No! Indeed, with me is my Lord; He will guide me." 62 Then We bade Moses strike the sea with his staff. And it parted, and each part was like a huge mountain. 63 Then We brought the two parties closer. 64 We delivered Moses and all those who were with him, 65 And We drowned the others. 66 Verily there is a sign in this, but most of them do not believe. 67 And lo, thy Lord! He is indeed the Mighty, the Merciful. 68
