۞ We sent a revelation to Moses telling him to leave with our servants during the night; they would be pursued (by the Pharaoh). 52 And Pharaoh sent forth heralds to all the cities. 53 [And said], "Indeed, those are but a small band, 54 who have certainly provoked our wrath. 55 "But we are host all assembled, amply forewarned." 56 We therefore got them out from the gardens and water springs. 57 Treasures, and every kind of honourable place. 58 and We made the Children of Israel inheritors of these bounties. 59 Then they pursued them at sunrise. 60 And when the two companies saw one another, the companions of Moses said, "Indeed, we are to be overtaken!" 61 [Musa (Moses)] said: "Nay, verily! With me is my Lord, He will guide me." 62 Then We inspired Moses, saying: Smite the sea with thy staff. And it parted, and each part was as a mountain vast. 63 And We brought near, there, the others. 64 and We delivered Moses and those with him all together; 65 and drowned the other party. 66 Surely in that is a sign, yet most of them are not believers. 67 Your Lord is certainly Majestic and All-merciful. 68
