۞ AND [there came a time when] We inspired Moses thus: "Go forth with My servants by night: for, behold, you will be pursued!" 52 The Pharaoh sent word to all the cities saying, 53 'These' they said, 'are a small band, 54 And verily they have enraged us. 55 we are a large and watchful force." 56 Thus did We drive them out of their gardens and springs 57 And treasures and agreeable mansions. 58 Even so. And We gave them as a heritage to the children of Israel. 59 Then they pursued them at sunrise. 60 and when the two groups saw each other, Moses' companions said, "We are sure to be overtaken." 61 Moses said: "Certainly not. My Lord is with me; He will direct me." 62 Then We revealed unto Musa, saying: smite thou the sea with thy staff. So it became separated, and each part was like unto a cliff mighty. 63 In the meantime We made the others approach that place. 64 and We saved Moses and those who were with him together, 65 then We drowned the others. 66 Indeed in this is surely a sign, and most of them were not Muslims. 67 Surely, your Lord is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 68
